The little things...

The summer has begun that means the toys that have been collecting dust this past school year are being rediscovered and it always seems like the least expensive toys bring the most joy in their young careless little lives... my boys have always loved playing with army guys... setting up for battle and the end result of "ATTACK" seems to be their favorite part...I just figured that could be something to blog about i know it's not as exciting and fun as some blogs but i figured it's about time for a new post since i'm a slacker when it comes to bloggin' but hey that's just me always a loss for words ...plus i've been preoccupied reading a very interesting book by Stephenie Meyer called "The Host" if you haven't read it .....READ it .... i'm more than halfway done and will be sad when i'm done ....dang that Stephenie girl ...really gots the magic when it comes to writing a book!!! i will blog more on the book later... that's it for now!

Can I still borrow it when you're done? I cant wait!

It's funny how the cheap little things are the most fun for kids..and they're the toys that bring out their imagination the most!

I like it when you post Ana! I feel so far away sometimes :( ..well cause I am. Move out here!

I see that Salena beat me to wanting to borrow it. Glad you are enjoying it, I will have to check that one out. Glad you have had some relaxing YOU time reading a book. Us mom's doing get enough of that. So enjoy that book!!

Cute post with the army men. Summer is not one of my most favorite times. :) We have been doing this token system that I found with blogging that gets the kids helping out, and just motivates them a little. Let me know if you are interested. It has done wonders for us.

We need to get the kids playing this summer....REALLY!

Hey chica!!

I haven't checked out her books. I've been engrossed in a book by Jen Lancaster that has me howlin' in laughter - you'd get a giggle.

How are things?

Okay sis,

Our boys are definitely related...I will attach a pic of Kingston's little battlefield that he just put together a couple of weeks ago and asked me to take a pic of it..he even added 2 lil' ninja's in there..but yeah he can spend hrs on just moving them and placing them in different positions, than he'll add more to it, it's crazy..but I'll send it to your email, cuz I don't think I can attach a photo on here...so funny..love ya, Kat
