A very hard and long week!

This week has been very emotional and very hard ..last sunday my dad had a stroke.. he is still in the hospital and is being transferred today to a rehibilitation center to gain strength in his right side of his body he can walk but just slowly and he can't really move his right arm.. I just wanna dedicate this blog to him .. because of course he has always been my hero..in many ways and he has done nothing but want us to be happy he always is so giving and sometimes he doesn't know how not to give.. he wants so much for his family that he has worked him self too much.. he has worked almost everyday of his life... at times without a break for himself...he has been such a great example to me and I have always admired him for his sense of humor even in the hospital he's making jokes and making eveyone laugh...he may not be a perfect man but he is my Dad and i'm so greatful i chose him ... Please keep him in your prayers at this time for a fast yet full recovery I know he has been given another chance to make all of this right I love him in everyway possible and also my mom she is going through a very hard trial in her life and needs all the support and love she can get please keep her in your prayers too.. she's gonna need all the help she can get!! I love u dad & mom!! thanks

(Here are some of my favorite photo's of my Dad!)

My mom designed this! but that photo of my dad is actually a postcard they used to sell at the PCC(Polynesian Culture Center in Laie, HI) back in his DAY..when he was the Star of the show ;)

That was so sweet! For some reason, I kept looking on your blog these past few days to see if you were going to do a post for dad. Anyways, thanks for helping watch the babies while Steven and I could go see him last night. He's so sweet when you come..he's always like " I'm so happy you came..my favorite!" HA! It's cute how he does that to all of us. But he really does know how to make you feel like his "favorite":) Well, love you Ana. Maybe i'll do something like this on my blog, too.

Thanks for sharing. Those are really great pictures of him. I remember all those fun spaghetti youth guide days at your house every Sunday night. ...So generous to feed us crazy youth guides all the time. You have such great parents and I sometimes miss those old days! I will definately keep him in my prayers.

I have been thinking about him, hoping that he is doing better. YOu are right, your dad is one of the best! I always wished he was my dad growing up...he is one funny, sweet, thoughtful, hardworking man. I hope that he heals well, and he can have a full recovery. He is lucky!!

YOu guys are lucky to have him! How sweet of you to dedicate this post to him...he is lucky to have you too!

I haven't seen your parents in years, but seeing those pics of your dad made me remember how kind and happy he always was. I remember him saying aloha everytime he bore his testimony in church. I will certainly keep him and your mother in my prayers!

Ana, I hope he gets better soon. I have a fantastic memory of your dad. When he was my Sunday School teacher, he wanted all of us to call him Vuna instead of Brother Fa. And to help all of us little kids remember his name, he would always say to us, "Just remember, you can eat tuna but you can't eat Vuna." It always made me laugh and still does. I just laughed as I was typing it out.
